Hi, I’m Freya! It’s so lovely to meet you. I’m a mama to two girls, a wife, a best friend, a daughter, and a photographer—among many other things.

For over ten years, I have worked as a documentary photographer, traveling the world on assignment, telling humanitarian, wildlife, and conservation stories. Now that I’m a mum, I travel much less—but my love for documentary storytelling hasn’t changed. Instead, I’ve found a deep love for capturing family stories—just like yours.

I still photograph for Getty Images across the Middle East, along with international news publications, but these days, my heart is happiest at the beach or out in the desert. Life as a mum is beautifully chaotic, and I truly cherish this season where I get to slow down and document all of your meaningful family moments.

I really can’t wait to bring that love for storytelling to our next shoot. Hope to see you soon—maybe down at the beach or out in the dunes!
